Content Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.

📋 Description

• Develop and execute branding, messaging, and communication strategies that align with the organization’s objectives.

• Create, edit, and oversee content for various publications, communication materials, presentations, and other customer-oriented products.

• Drive efforts to modernize publications, enhancing content quality, accessibility, consistency, and the overall customer experience.

• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to gather requirements, synchronize messaging, and ensure communications effectively address audience needs.

• Simplify complex information into clear, engaging, and customer-centric communications.

⛳️ Requirements

• BS/BA degree with 10 years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

• Proven experience in developing branding, messaging strategies, and strategic communications.

• Familiarity with customer experience (CX) principles and their application to communications, content, and products.

• Strong ability to engage stakeholders and build relationships across diverse audiences.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a talent for creating clear and compelling content.

• Experience in modernizing publications, communication materials, or content delivery methods.

• Preferred experience in supporting communication or branding initiatives within government, defense, technology, or other intricate organizations.

• Preferred expertise in content strategy, digital communications, or publication design and modernization.

• Familiarity with customer experience research, journey mapping, or audience analysis is preferred.

• Preferred experience in managing multiple communications initiatives and priorities in a fast-paced environment.

• Only U.S. citizens are eligible for this position.

• Must be capable of obtaining and maintaining a Public Trust or Suitability Determination, based on agency background investigation requirements.

• DHS Suitability is required.

• Ability to handle Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI) and comply with relevant safeguarding and compliance regulations.
