This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Create literacy and math activities that align with curriculum pacing for schools to share with families throughout the year.
• Ensure that the content is developmentally suitable, academically robust, accessible to families, and engaging for children.
• Collaborate with the Product team to design interactive games and learning experiences for use at home.
• Work alongside Partner Success to onboard district partners and gather curriculum resources, including scope and sequences and pacing guides.
• Convert district curriculum materials into content development and alignment plans.
• Serve as an academic content expert representing TalkingPoints during presentations and meetings with district partners.
• Develop systems for prioritizing, producing, reviewing, tagging, and maintaining academic content.
• Establish quality standards and review processes across various grades, subjects, and district partners.
• Utilize AI to enhance the efficiency and quality of content development, tagging, curriculum alignment, and refinement.
• Monitor content development progress and optimize workflows and the partner experience.
• Assist in recruiting, hiring, onboarding, and training seasonal academic content contractors.
• Assign and prioritize contractor tasks based on partner needs and content development objectives.
• Set production and quality targets.
• Review contractor submissions, provide constructive feedback, and ensure that content adheres to TalkingPoints standards.
• Report to the Product team.
• Experience as an elementary school teacher, instructional coach, or curriculum specialist.
• Strong understanding of evidence-based elementary literacy and math instruction, including the Science of Reading.
• Proven experience in creating operational processes that enhance efficiency while maintaining quality.
• Comfortable utilizing AI and other tools to optimize workflows.
• Proactive, self-driven, and capable of identifying operational challenges, proposing solutions, and implementing changes across teams.
• Familiarity with U.S.-based K-12 education systems.
• Experience with or sensitivity to underserved populations, education, immigration, bilingual, and/or multicultural contexts.
