Content Localization Specialist – Korean, Chinese (Simplified)

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in South Korea.

📋 Description

• Translation and localization of content

• Execute Korean to Simplified Chinese translation and localization for in-app educational and marketing materials, focusing on pedagogical principles

• Refine and enhance the translated/localized content through QA processes to ensure an optimal learning experience for Korean learners of Chinese

• When necessary, create and develop in-app educational resources systematically for Korean learners at various levels of Simplified Chinese proficiency, under the guidance and training of the manager

• When needed, assist with the operation of content-related projects, such as uploading scripts, QA of lessons, and coordinating operational tasks under the supervision and training of the manager

• Follow directions from the manager effectively, implement instructions, complete assigned projects, and maintain clear communication throughout

⛳️ Requirements

• Native speaker of Simplified Chinese with native or near-native proficiency in English, both written and spoken

• Strong understanding of both languages and the current landscape of Simplified Chinese learning in Korea

• Proven experience and expertise in Korean to Simplified Chinese translation and localization

• Background in teaching Simplified Chinese, language pedagogy, or curriculum design

• Exceptional attention to detail with a robust sense of ownership and responsibility

• Enthusiasm for technology-enhanced language learning and eagerness to learn and utilize advanced technologies in the workplace

• Proficient in English
