Content Lead

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Take charge of Paires' complete public presence: the content we produce, the interactions between brand founders and investors showcased in the feed, and the information available when people search for us.

• Formulate the content strategy and deliver the actual content across LinkedIn and X: including hooks, posts, and scripts created by you.

• Host podcasts and interviews with accomplished founders and investors, guiding them from initial idea to published work.

• Establish a citable framework: generate answer pages, comparison pages, and a newsroom, organized so that AI systems reference Paires as the authoritative source on capital raising.

• Propose and secure earned media opportunities: including trade publications, newsletters, and podcast features.

• Construct the public narrative: a definitive company story on every platform, along with share-of-voice analysis across AI responses and search results.

• Evaluate audience and inbound growth from founders and investors against pipeline metrics, rather than vanity metrics.

⛳️ Requirements

• Actively engaged in the startup and VC sectors online: consistently using LinkedIn and X, staying updated on funding rounds, viral trends, and current news, driven by genuine interest.

• Proven experience in growing an audience or brand: a named account you managed, metrics you can recall, and social handles we can verify.

• Capable of creating everything independently: hooks, posts, scripts, and pages. Always a creator first.

• Curious about the criteria AI assistants use for citations, and ideally, have experience in creating structured content designed for quotation rather than just ranking.

• Able to analyze a piece that excelled and articulate why it was effective, as well as identify a piece that underperformed and explain the changes made.

• Eager, highly engaged online, and prepared to independently manage a company's entire public presence.

• Bonus: personal following among founders or investors; media placements you've secured; experience with AI visibility tracking tools.
