Content Editor

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Kazakhstan, +3 more countries.

📋 Description

• Editing content in English, including articles, promotional materials about destinations, travel guides, hotel collections, news, travel tips, product announcements, and user manuals;

• Ensuring that all materials adhere to editorial guidelines and align with the brand’s corporate style;

• Preparing articles for publication by working closely with the layout designer, assisting with design elements as necessary (such as buttons, quotes, illustrations), and supporting layout processes in WordPress;

• Performing SEO optimization on texts by selecting effective headlines, structuring materials to improve search engine visibility, and collaborating with SEO specialists;

• Assigning tasks to authors by creating briefs in conjunction with SEO specialists, distributing articles among writers, reviewing their work, providing assistance with structuring, and monitoring deadlines;

• Coordinating team efforts, including collaboration with the SEO specialist and layout designer, while keeping the current status of tasks updated in Asana;

• Analyzing publication performance and creating reports based on results as needed;

• Searching for new authors for specific topics on platforms like Fiverr and Upwork.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in editing and writing English-language content for business or marketing purposes;

• Proficient command of English (C1+ level), with a strong understanding of stylistics, localization nuances, and the ability to navigate international trends and sources;

• Basic knowledge of WordPress and content administration is a plus, though not mandatory;

• Experience with international English-language content projects and familiarity with localization features;

• Understanding of business specifics (B2C, B2B);

• Skills in time management, task setting and monitoring, cross-team collaboration, and experience with task trackers (such as Asana);

• A proactive attitude, curiosity, initiative, and the ability to ask questions and propose solutions.
