This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.
• Deliver exceptional customer service in a call center setting by handling and addressing telephone inquiries from policyholders, beneficiaries, providers, agents, and other stakeholders.
• Offer information and support concerning CHCS third-party administrator clients, which includes Medicare Supplement and Life Policies.
• Confirm benefits and claims status by accessing and updating data within the company's software system according to established response standards.
• Investigate company records, execute routine transactions, and obtain results from an online terminal.
• Maintain a comprehensive understanding of the company's products and services.
• Adhere to regulations regarding privacy, confidentiality, and private health information.
• Provide both written and verbal communication regarding the status and resolution of inquiries.
• Initiate and finalize Call Tracks, checklists, and related clerical tasks.
• Be available to work various shifts as needed.
• Collaborate effectively while maintaining accountability and the ability to work remotely and independently.
• Minimum of six months of relevant call center experience and/or training.
• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
• Proficient typing skills of at least 30 words per minute with 95% accuracy.
• Accurate data entry experience in a Windows-based environment.
• Intermediate proficiency in computer skills.
• Fundamental skills in math, English spelling, and grammar.
• Ability to read and understand simple instructions, correspondence, and memos.
• Capability to write basic correspondence.
• Skill in presenting information effectively in one-on-one and small-group settings.
• Competence in performing basic arithmetic and calculating rates, ratios, and percentages.
• Ability to interpret bar graphs.
• Capacity to apply common-sense reasoning to detailed written or oral instructions.
• Problem-solving skills for situations involving a few concrete variables in standardized settings.
• A collaborative team-oriented mindset.
• Strong accountability and the ability to work both remotely and independently.
• Must pass pre- and post-hire background checks and drug screenings, including THC.
• Verification of high school diploma, GED, or college degree may be required upon request.
• Three professional references provided in a timely manner.
