This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.
• You will be the mathematical architect behind the logistical optimization for our clients.
• You will convert urban maps into advanced mathematical models.
• You will design solutions that minimize costs and transit times through combinatorial optimization algorithms.
• You will formulate and solve problems such as: Capacitated Vehicle Routing Problem (CVRP).
• Facility Location Problem.
• You will process large volumes of GPS data (telemetry) to: Identify traffic patterns. Calculate average speeds per road segment.
• You will implement data pipelines in Azure to feed optimization engines.
• You will deploy and execute models on cloud computing services (Azure).
• Education: Ph.D. or MSc. in: Operations Research
• Industrial Engineering (specializing in Logistics)
• Data Science
• Strong experience in mathematical modeling and combinatorial optimization.
• Proficiency in: Python (preferred) or C++.
• Familiarity with Gurobi, CPLEX, or Google OR-Tools.
• Knowledge of graphs and networks.
• Experience processing GPS data (time-series and spatial data).
• Familiarity with GIS tools: PostGIS, QGIS, osmnx, networkx.
• Experience building and deploying pipelines in Azure.
• Experience with stochastic or dynamic models.
• Experience integrating APIs for route data.
