This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Collaborate proactively with account teams to engage customers at the outset of the sales cycle and shape opportunities through value engineering frameworks.

• Lead discovery discussions to identify customer business drivers, financial limitations, and decision-making criteria.

• Convert customer challenges into measurable impacts on cost, risk, and growth.

• Perform analyses such as Total Cost of Ownership (TCO), Return on Investment (ROI), and Net Present Value (NPV).

• Create clear comparisons across various alternatives, including the status quo, incremental changes, modernization, consumption models, and competition.

• Work alongside Solution Architects to link technical architecture decisions with quantifiable business outcomes.

• Ensure solutions are optimized for maximum value, balancing cost, performance, flexibility, and risk.

• Develop and deliver executive-level materials, including value business cases, financial analyses and models, and customer value narratives and presentations.

• Influence deal strategies and improve win rates by emphasizing economic impact over product features or pricing.

• Equip account teams with value-based selling techniques, financial storytelling, and discovery frameworks.


⛳️ Requirements

• 8–12+ years of experience in Solution Engineering, Consulting, Value Engineering, or similar fields.

• Proven experience in building and presenting financial models (TCO, ROI, NPV).

• Strong capability to connect technical solutions to business and financial results.

• Excellent executive-level communication and presentation skills.

• Experience in supporting complex enterprise sales cycles.

• A commitment to coaching, enabling, and training other internal resources to enhance overall company impact.

• Knowledge of lifecycle management and modernization strategies.

• Experience in developing sales frameworks, tools, or enablement programs.

• Familiarity with subscription, consumption, or as-a-service models (e.g., STaaS/Keystone).

• Background in infrastructure, cloud, and data management solutions.

• Experience in a leadership role or serving as a team lead.

• Advanced degree (MBA, Finance, or a related field) is preferred.

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Finance, Business, or a related discipline, or equivalent experience.
