Consulting Engineering Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Michigan.

📋 Description

• Lead, mentor, and nurture a high-achieving global consultancy team

• Develop strong relationships with partners, colleagues, and cross-departmental teams

• Work in conjunction with senior management to establish and meet business objectives

• Comprehend client requirements, guide technical solutions, and ensure an excellent experience from the initial interaction to long-term usage

• Transform customer feedback into insights that inform product development and strategic roadmaps

• Showcase and illustrate Tech Soft 3D software, linking technical features to customer benefits

• Generate persuasive content for sales proposals and aid in creating engaging marketing resources

• Keep abreast of technological advancements and market trends that impact or enhance products

• Collaborate with the Sr. Director of Partner Development to optimize tools, processes, and workflows

• Cultivate positive relationships and support a collaborative, high-performance team culture

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computing, product design, physics, or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience

• Over 10 years of experience in the Automotive, Aerospace, or Defense industries, either as an end-user or within the CAD/PLM/PDM software domain

• Previous experience in people management

• Strong understanding of 3D geometry and CAD principles

• Proven success in pre-sales and technical support roles

• Outstanding interpersonal, communication, and presentation abilities

• Capacity to manage intricate customer relationships and navigate technical challenges

• Willingness to travel occasionally
