Consulting Engineering Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Michigan.

• Oversee, mentor, and enhance the performance of a high-achieving, global consulting team.

• Cultivate strong relationships with partners, colleagues, and cross-functional teams.

• Collaborate with senior leadership to establish and reach business objectives.

• Comprehend customer requirements, direct technical solutions, and ensure an excellent experience from initial contact to long-term engagement.

• Transform customer feedback into insights that influence product development and strategic roadmaps.

• Showcase and demonstrate Tech Soft 3D software, linking technical features to customer benefits.

• Develop engaging content for sales proposals and assist in creating impactful marketing materials.

• Keep abreast of technological advancements and market dynamics that impact or enhance products.

• Collaborate with the Sr. Director of Partner Development to improve tools, processes, and workflows.

• Foster positive relationships and support a collaborative, high-performing team culture.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computing, product design, physics, or a related discipline, or equivalent relevant experience.

• Over 10 years of experience in the Automotive, Aerospace, or Defense industries, either as an end-user or within the CAD/PLM/PDM software environment.

• Prior experience in people management.

• Strong knowledge of 3D geometry and CAD systems.

• Proven success in pre-sales and technical support roles.

• Outstanding interpersonal, communication, and presentation abilities.

• Capability to manage intricate customer relationships and technical challenges.

• Willingness to travel occasionally.
