Consulting Director, Physician Preference Items – Orthopedics

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Offer strategic guidance to improve cost efficiency, minimize clinical variation, and enhance the quality of care in Orthopedics.

• Leverage analytics to derive insights and address intricate challenges within Orthopedics programs and service lines.

• Integrate data from various sources to formulate recommendations that facilitate informed decision-making for clients.

• Develop innovative solutions that enhance performance in Orthopedics.

• Manage complex projects or workstreams to ensure timely delivery, appropriate allocation of resources, and measurable value creation.

• Supervise project plans to guarantee alignment with scope, schedule, budget, and performance indicators.

• Ensure the successful implementation and adoption of Vizient tools and technologies at client locations.

• Build and maintain strong relationships with senior client leadership, including regular interactions with C-suite executives.

• Lead executive-level discussions, presentations, and decision-making meetings.

• Assist in business development by identifying prospects and engaging in sales initiatives.

⛳️ Requirements

• Preferred relevant degree.

• Clinical degree is advantageous.

• A minimum of 7 years of relevant experience is required.

• Experience in service line management within the Orthopedics department is highly preferred.

• Demonstrated capability to analyze financial and quality metrics, create operational strategies, and implement process enhancements.

• Excellent interpersonal, verbal, written, and presentation abilities, with outstanding verbal communication critical for influencing senior stakeholders and facilitating complex decision-making.

• Self-driven with the capacity to work both independently and collaboratively.

• Willingness to travel frequently and promptly throughout the year to accommodate clients’ needs and schedules.
