Consulting Director

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Lead intricate consulting projects centered on indirect spending, purchased services, and operational enhancement initiatives for healthcare provider clients.

• Analyze sophisticated datasets, product usage, contract performance, and national benchmarking data to uncover financial value and opportunities for cost reduction.

• Assess contract penetration, market share, standardization opportunities, substitution strategies, and utilization trends to optimize contract value and client savings.

• Convert analytical insights into executive-level presentations, strategic recommendations, and actionable implementation plans.

• Facilitate discussions with C-suite and senior healthcare leaders to align priorities, influence decision-making, and enhance value realization.

• Act as Project Lead for advisory engagements by overseeing scope, deliverables, timelines, priorities, and resource coordination across various workstreams.

• Collaborate with clients both on-site and remotely as a trusted advisor to identify, influence, and execute operational and financial improvement opportunities.

• Build robust client relationships through proactive communication, accountability, and the delivery of high-quality consulting results.

• Support business development efforts through solution design, proposal assistance, client presentations, and identification of expansion opportunities.

• Mentor consultants and contribute to capability development, knowledge sharing, and continual improvement across the consulting practice.

⛳️ Requirements

• Relevant degree preferred.

• A minimum of 7 years of relevant experience required.

• Direct experience in leading indirect spending, purchased services, or operational improvement initiatives within healthcare organizations is required.

• Experience in healthcare consulting, advisory services, or complex healthcare systems is preferred.

• Proven ability to oversee large, multi-workstream consulting engagements and influence executive stakeholders is required.

• Advanced analytical skills with the capability to interpret complex data and generate actionable financial and operational insights are required.

• Strong executive communication, presentation, and relationship management skills are required.

• Experience in developing and presenting strategic recommendations to C-suite healthcare leaders is preferred.

• Demonstrated leadership experience in mentoring consultants and supporting team development is preferred.

• Willingness to travel regularly and promptly throughout the year to meet clients’ needs and schedules.
