Consulting Data Architect – Snowflake

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Design and implement Snowflake architectures on AWS utilizing dbt Generative AI solution patterns.

• Lead the creation of AI-driven solution patterns, such as retrieval-augmented generation, vector search, embedding pipelines, prompt orchestration, semantic search, and AI-enhanced analytics workflows.

• Construct and validate proofs of concept, prototypes, reusable accelerators, reference architectures, and implementation templates.

• Guide project teams and oversee both coworker and client teams in the design and development of solutions.

• Develop business cases, financial justifications, and solution-benefit content for client deliverables and presentations.

• Supervise technical solutions across various projects to ensure coherence and visibility within the solutions delivery team.

• Identify and report any project budget concerns.

• Conduct quality assurance for qualifying SOW requests and perform peer reviews of deliverables for technical accuracy.

• Maintain client relationships as a trusted Technical Advisor.

• Enhance communication between departments and clients.

• Propose solutions and assist account teams with proposals, quotes, and presentations.

• Implement, maintain, upgrade, and troubleshoot S&S solutions.

• Transfer technical expertise and knowledge to clients through work logs.

• Conduct solution QA tasks for project deliverables in accordance with project scope and SOW.

• Provide planning for implementation and migration, coordinate vendor installations, and adhere to client timelines.

• Facilitate communication among product team members.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree and over 7 years of professional experience with relational data models, databases, data engineering, ingestion, transformation, and analytics delivery, OR over 11 years of professional experience in these areas.

• Extensive experience with Snowflake, dbt, AWS, and SQL.

• Proficient in data transformation, cleansing, preparation, and performance-oriented development.

• Experience in developing datasets for ad-hoc analytical needs, reporting, and insights for marketing or business stakeholders.

• Familiarity with highly regulated industries and adherence to internal governance, data privacy, and data quality standards.

• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.

• Capability to create and maintain technical documentation.

• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills to recognize potential risks.

• Ability to manage competing priorities, adapt to evolving business needs, and meet deadlines.

• Proven experience in applying lessons learned to unique challenges.

• Track record of reskilling on new technologies and understanding the distinctions from previous technologies.

• Willingness and ability to travel as required to other CDW locations or client sites.
