Consultant Zap Lok

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Netherlands.

📋 Description

• Provide technical expertise regarding Zap-Lok mechanical pipeline connection systems

• Oversee the installation of pipelines, ensuring quality control and integrity assessments

• Guarantee adherence to industry standards (API, ASME, DNV, etc.)

• Assist in project planning, troubleshooting, and conducting risk assessments

• Facilitate training and knowledge transfer for engineering teams

• Collaborate with NOV Tuboscope and various technology providers

• Engage in both onshore and offshore pipeline projects as required

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of experience with Zap-Lok or comparable mechanical pipeline connection systems

• A robust background in pipeline construction, welding alternatives, and integrity management

• Familiarity with both coated and uncoated pipelines utilizing Zap-Lok

• Understanding of hydrostatic testing, ultrasonic inspections, and pipeline quality control

• Experience collaborating with EPC contractors, oil & gas operators, and pipeline installation teams

• An engineering degree in Mechanical, Civil, or Pipeline Engineering is preferred

• Certifications such as API 1169 and ASNT NDT Level II are advantageous

• Willingness to travel and work in remote, onshore, or offshore environments
