This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +4 more states.
• Assist clients in translating intricate water utility challenges into effective, cutting-edge GIS solutions, with a particular focus on the implementation of ArcGIS Enterprise, ArcGIS Utility Network, and associated ArcGIS Solutions.
• Partner with clients to develop comprehensive enterprise geospatial strategies, which include multi-year implementation and migration plans.
• Gather, organize, and articulate client needs, objectives, and business processes—including asset management, field operations, and data management—to devise practical ArcGIS Enterprise solutions.
• Evaluate and interpret business and technical issues specific to water utilities, providing actionable, customer-centric solutions.
• Counsel clients on enterprise GIS strategies and product selection, emphasizing ArcGIS Enterprise and Utility Network.
• Oversee project management functions, including the planning, execution, and delivery of GIS projects for water utilities, ensuring alignment with client objectives and achieving successful outcomes.
• Develop and manage project scope, budget, schedule, and deliverables through effective planning, tracking, quality assurance, change management, and risk assessment.
• Supervise small to large-scale projects and guide project teams through requirements gathering, analysis, design, development, and deployment.
• Monitor project performance and relay status updates to internal teams and client stakeholders.
• Collaborate with Esri’s marketing and sales teams to assist in business development, expand into new application domains, and provide solutions to both new and existing clients.
• Cultivate client relationships while maintaining a strong emphasis on customer success and fostering long-term partnerships.
• Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience utilizing ArcGIS Enterprise in production settings.
• At least 5 years of experience within the water, wastewater, or stormwater utility sectors.
• Proven expertise in ArcGIS Utility Network concepts and their implementations.
• Familiarity with Esri products, including ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Enterprise, ArcGIS Utility Network, ArcGIS Field Maps, and ArcGIS Solutions.
• Capability to link utility business processes (asset management, field operations, data management, etc.) to ArcGIS solutions.
• Strong client-facing experience with a demonstrated ability to comprehend customer requirements and deliver effective solutions.
• Experience in contributing to or leading complex, multi-stakeholder initiatives.
• Exceptional collaboration skills and the capability to work autonomously.
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication abilities.
• Proficiency in managing multiple projects or tasks simultaneously.
• Bachelor’s degree in information systems, GIS, geography, or a related discipline.
