Consultant, Reporting, Monitoring, and Evaluation

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in France.

📋 Description

• The M&E Officer is responsible for implementing monitoring and reporting tools for our programs spread across 11 locations, including South Africa, South Sudan, Uganda, Mexico, France, and the United States.

• Assisting the management team in creating documents related to reporting, partnerships, fundraising, strategic planning, and more.

• Reviewing and updating existing monitoring and reporting tools to aid field office managers and teams in fulfilling their M&E duties.

• Timely collection of regular reports from field office managers and teams.

• Collaborating with all pertinent units of the Secretariat, including the Executive Office of the ADG (SC/EO), to supply essential data and reports regarding the impact of the partnership between UNESCO and the UNESCO Special Envoy for Peace and Reconciliation.

• Analyzing and presenting high-quality data derived from WPDI activities.

• Providing insights to the management team on evaluation requirements based on agreements with donors and partners.

• Assisting the team in identifying, documenting, and synthesizing lessons learned and best practices for integration into the M&E framework.

⛳️ Requirements

• Master’s Degree in social sciences (Economics, Sociology, etc.), Statistics, Public/Non-Profit/Business Administration, or other relevant fields.

• A minimum of 5 years of professional experience in M&E, preferably within the international development sector.

• Demonstrated ability to draft clear and concise documents and produce comprehensive analytical and synthesis reports.

• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work while adhering to deadlines.

• Excellent IT skills, including proficiency in standard office software, database management, and data visualization.

• Ability to work effectively in a team setting and foster trust-based working relationships in a multicultural environment.

• Proficient in English, both spoken and written. Knowledge of French and/or Spanish is an advantage.
