This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Identify and engage with employee benefits consultants, brokers, and consulting leaders across prominent firms and markets.
• Utilize multi-channel outreach through email, LinkedIn, phone, and other innovative methods to schedule meetings and events for Journey's Consultant Relations team.
• Raise awareness of Journey's proactive mental health solution and inform consultants about how Journey stands apart from traditional EAPs and behavioral health providers.
• Organize consultant office events, educational sessions, webinars, and other opportunities to foster relationships.
• Create customized outreach strategies tailored to consulting firms, offices, and individual consultants.
• Collaborate closely with Consultant Relations Directors to prioritize target firms, accounts, and markets.
• Keep accurate CRM records and prospecting activities updated within Salesforce and related sales tools.
• Achieve or surpass monthly goals for booked consultant meetings and secured events.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in an outbound sales role (SDR, BDR, or similar) at a rapidly growing company.
• A proactive and inventive approach to establishing relationships and engaging consultants, brokers, and other external partners.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the capacity to create engaging, personalized messages.
• High sense of urgency and resilience—thrives in fast-paced settings.
• Ability to build credibility, navigate professional relationships, and effectively tailor outreach to various consulting firms and stakeholders.
• A collaborative, proactive team player who can work cross-functionally with Sales, Product, Operations, and Partnerships.
• Familiarity with sales and prospecting tools such as Salesforce, Apollo, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, etc.
• Bonus: Experience working with employee benefits consultants, brokers, HR leaders, or in the employee benefits ecosystem.
