Consultant, Microsoft Business Intelligence

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Assess business needs and develop innovative technical specifications for Business Intelligence (BI) solutions.

• Design, implement, and maintain cutting-edge BI solutions utilizing the latest Microsoft technologies (Power BI, Microsoft Fabric, Microsoft Intelligent Data Platform, Azure Synapse).

• Architect and technically execute database, data warehousing, and BI frameworks, along with ETL processes based on the Microsoft BI ecosystem.

• Conduct data modeling and integrate information from diverse sources into the Azure cloud environment.

• Generate sophisticated reports, dashboards, and data visualizations to facilitate data-driven decision-making.

• Educate and assist end users in utilizing modern BI tools effectively.

• Work collaboratively with other departments and external stakeholders to guarantee seamless project execution.

• Execute quality assurance protocols and performance enhancements for BI solutions.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, or a related field.

• Multiple years of professional experience in Microsoft Business Intelligence.

• Strong knowledge of the Microsoft BI suite and contemporary Azure tools (e.g., Power BI, Microsoft Fabric, Microsoft Intelligent Data Platform, Azure Synapse).

• Proficiency in programming languages such as T-SQL, Python, DAX, and Power Query (M).

• Experience in data modeling and database architecture.

• Excellent analytical skills with a solid understanding of business contexts.

• Ideally, some exposure to Databricks and Power BI certifications.

• Proficient in German and competent in English.
