This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.
• Oversee and nurture a team of Commercial analysts tasked with producing high-quality reporting, dashboards, and data-driven insights that facilitate informed business decisions.
• Integrate people leadership, practical analytics, project management, and collaboration across functions to ensure that analytics solutions are precise, actionable, and aligned with business goals.
• Propel process enhancements, standardize reporting, and establish governance to improve efficiency, consistency, and overall business impact.
• Exhibit strong project management capabilities to plan, prioritize, and manage multiple analytics initiatives concurrently.
• Guarantee timely and high-quality delivery of dashboards, reports, and analyses that correspond with business priorities.
• Balance direct analytical work with team management, intervening to resolve intricate business challenges and directing analytical methodologies.
• Utilize structured problem-solving techniques to convert ambiguous business inquiries into clear, data-driven insights.
• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to grasp business requirements and translate them into actionable analytics specifications.
• Ensure that outputs are relevant, actionable, and directly contribute to business value creation.
• Possess strong skills in data analysis, including advanced proficiency in Excel and BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
• Capable of designing user-friendly dashboards and visualizations that effectively convey insights to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Maintain data accuracy, consistency, and integrity across all reporting and analytics outputs.
• Advocate for best practices in data governance, definitions, and standardization.
• Identify opportunities to optimize, automate, and scale analytics and reporting processes.
• Enhance efficiencies that minimize manual labor and improve consistency.
• Consistently provide insights that lead to measurable business results and aid decision-making.
• Clearly communicate findings through executive-ready summaries and recommendations.
• Establish and uphold standard processes, documentation, and governance for analytics delivery.
• Monitor performance and continuously enhance team output and impact.
• Effectively lead, mentor, and develop a team of Business Intelligence analysts, fostering a high-performance, accountable, and collaborative culture.
• Provide clear guidance, prioritize tasks, and support career advancement through mentoring and skill development.
• Cultivate team capabilities in data management, analytical methodologies, storytelling, and business collaboration.
• Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Business, or a related discipline (Master’s degree preferred).
• Strong analytical and strategic problem-solving abilities, with a talent for converting complex data into actionable insights and business recommendations.
• Highly effective communicator with strong storytelling and data visualization skills, capable of transforming complex analyses into clear, compelling messages for business leaders.
• Proven track record of leading cross-functional initiatives and executing strategies across diverse stakeholder groups to meet business objectives.
• Strong understanding of commercial operations, market dynamics, and CRO/life sciences business models, with the capacity to apply industry knowledge to business decisions.
• Demonstrated ability to align business priorities with technical solutions, translating business requirements into practical analytical strategies and implementation plans.
• Self-motivated and collaborative, able to balance strategic priorities with analytical details while ensuring clarity, alignment, and results.
• Advanced proficiency in Python or R, SQL, and BI tools such as Tableau, Power BI, and Spotfire, with the ability to leverage these tools to address business challenges and generate actionable insights.
• Advanced Excel skills, including complex formulas, Power Query, automation, and modeling, utilized to support analysis, scenario planning, and decision-making.
• Significant experience with Salesforce or similar CRM platforms, utilizing system capabilities and commercial data to enhance pipeline visibility, opportunity management, and business decisions.
• At least 10 years of analytics experience managing commercial or sales functions, preferably in CRO/life sciences.
• A minimum of 5 years in leadership roles focused on business intelligence.
