Consultant – Fiscal Operations Advisory

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +4 more states.

📋 Description

• Conducts operational, accounting, and consulting tasks, which encompass customer service assistance, problem resolution, accounts payable management, expense report auditing, and continuous reporting and analysis.

• Creates polished deliverables for clients while ensuring that all client deadlines are met promptly.

• Collaborates closely with clients to comprehend existing business practices, pinpoint areas for enhancement, support the definition of new processes, and aid in the development of revised policies and procedures.

• Assists with project initiation activities, including following project work plans, adhering to timelines, and participating in kickoff meetings.

• Reviews personal work for accuracy.

• Meets daily, weekly, and monthly deadlines in a dynamic work environment.

• Acts as a vital member of our Fiscal Operations Advisory team.

• Occasionally travels to client sites, firm training sessions, or industry conferences.

⛳️ Requirements

• Associate’s degree or equivalent is required.

• A minimum of 1 year of relevant experience is necessary.

• Experience in one or more of the following areas is preferred: expense report auditing, accounts payable processing, or financial accounting, including account reconciliation.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to deliver exceptional customer service through various communication channels (email, phone, chat, helpdesk ticket system, etc.).

• A critical thinker and creative problem-solver, possessing excellent time management, organizational, and project management skills.

• Capable of taking direction, learning swiftly, and working independently to achieve project goals.

• Able to work effectively both as part of a team and independently.

• Capable of managing multiple priorities, tasks, and simultaneous projects.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.

• Willingness and ability to travel as required.
