Consultant, FedRAMP Assessment

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with a team of assessors in the role of a federal compliance specialist

• Prepare audit observations

• Take the lead in conducting interviews and walkthrough inquiries with clients independently

• Evaluate security vulnerabilities

• Analyze assessment reports

• Educate clients on compliance activities and provide interpretations

• Ensure timely delivery of high-quality products and services

• Maintain relevant industry certifications

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 2-3 years of experience within the IT sector

• Strong knowledge of the applicable NIST Special Publications 800-37 Revision 2, 800-53 Revision 5, and 800-53A Revision 5

• In-depth technical understanding of NIST 800-53 Rev 5 control families

• Capability to lead testing sessions for designated controls

• Proficiency in independently researching technical subjects

• Ability to assist team members in the collection of appropriate artifacts

• Read and interpret all control families

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Strong self-motivation to effectively manage time and meet deadlines

• Bachelor's degree in IT or business, or a comparable combination of education and work experience

• Hold one of the following certifications: CCNA Security, CCNA Cyber Ops, CySA+, CISA, CISM, etc.
