Consultant, Evidence & Strategy

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Utilize statistical, epidemiological, and/or econometric knowledge to enhance research and client deliverables.

• Work in collaboration with programmers, statisticians, and researchers to analyze extensive US healthcare datasets, including patient or claims information.

• Develop client-ready presentations and reports that effectively convey clear and engaging narratives.

• Contribute to scientific publications, materials for conferences, and thought leadership initiatives.

• Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure the delivery of high-quality outcomes for clients.

• Oversee multiple project workstreams, managing budgets, timelines, deliverables, and communication with stakeholders.

• Lead and participate in client meetings, showcasing deliverables and determining subsequent steps.

• Assist in daily client interactions and manage expectations effectively.

• Aid in business development through proposals, scopes of work, and opportunities for account expansion.

• Mentor and guide junior team members.

• Cultivate subject matter expertise and act as a reliable internal and external resource.

• Remain updated on trends within the US healthcare sector.

• Manage and execute RWE and HEOR studies.

• Formulate study protocols, technical reports, statistical analysis plans, manuscripts, and abstracts.

• Interpret quantitative and qualitative study findings and present them in layman's terms.

• Provide consultation, evidence, and insights on patient-centric HEOR, US RWE studies, data optimization, quality, shared decision-making, value-based care, and health equity.

• Develop data-driven strategies to support patient-centric outcomes for life sciences companies, payers, providers, and patient advocates.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s or advanced degree (MA/MS or PhD) in a relevant field such as epidemiology, health economics, public health, statistics, or a related area.

• At least 4 years of experience in consulting, healthcare, or the pharmaceutical/device industry.

• Strong analytical capabilities with experience in working with US healthcare data; experience with claims or EHR data is highly valued.

• Familiarity with HEOR and/or RWE, especially in observational studies and secondary data sources like claims, EHR, real-world data, or other observational datasets.

• Experience in managing HEOR/RWE studies and engaging directly with clients is highly valued.

• Excellent communication and storytelling abilities, capable of presenting complex concepts clearly.

• Proven track record of managing multiple priorities and delivering high-quality work within tight deadlines.

• Comfortable working in cross-functional teams.

• Proactive and inquisitive mindset, with a strong passion for enhancing healthcare outcomes.

• Experience in a life sciences, healthcare, or strategy consulting environment is highly desirable.

• Previous experience presenting research findings at scientific conferences and/or in peer-reviewed publications is preferred.
