📋 Description

• Offer on-call help-desk advisory services to PSI’s Cost and Pricing function.

• Address cost and pricing inquiries received via the C&P mailbox and identify policy-level or sensitive matters.

• Examine proposal budgets and budget narratives for precision, consistency, reasonableness, indirect cost rates, donor cost principles, and solicitation requirements.

• Provide guidance on solicitation cost and pricing prerequisites and formulate responses to solicitation inquiries.

• Develop budget templates and assist or lead budget formulation.

• Enhance the capacity of country offices in budget formulation and cost estimation.

• Conduct time-sensitive capacity-building training and support initiatives.

• Resolve Excel formula errors, broken links, and issues related to budget-model templates.

• Deliver written feedback within agreed-upon turnaround times.

• Submit monthly progress reports detailing help-desk tickets, observations, tool revisions, and other requests.

• Collaborate with PSI C&P staff through biweekly check-ins and meetings.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience in cost and pricing, including the creation of proposal budgets for a range of government and non-government funders in international development.

• Experience in budgeting for cost reimbursable, milestone-based, firm-fixed-price, and various other grant and contract types.

• Professional proficiency in the MS Office Suite.

• Strong skills in MS Excel, including advanced functions such as Pivot Tables, XLOOKUP, SUMIFS, and IF statements.

• Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication abilities.

• Ability to adapt priorities based on workload.

• Must reside in the United States.
