Consultant, Citrix/Azure

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Consulting and solution design

• Assess current Citrix infrastructures and formulate strategies for optimization and modernization

• Provide guidance to our clients on Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops (CVAD), Citrix DaaS, and Citrix Cloud services, including NetScaler

• Develop architecture designs for hybrid and cloud-native Citrix environments on Azure

• Facilitate workshops and deliver technical presentations at client locations

• Design and deploy Citrix solutions (on-premises, hybrid, Azure-based)

• Transition existing Citrix environments to the Azure cloud (Citrix Cloud, Azure Virtual Desktop)

• Integrate Citrix with Azure Active Directory, Azure networking (VNet, ExpressRoute), and Azure security services

• Offer technical support as part of our Citrix managed services

• Monitor performance, troubleshoot, and optimize production Citrix environments

• Execute updates, patches, and upgrades

• Provide 2nd/3rd-level support for complex technical challenges

• Assess new Citrix and Azure features and their applicability for our clients

• Create and sustain best-practice documentation

• Conduct training sessions and workshops for clients

• Assist and resolve complex IT issues

• Develop and enforce Citrix best practices

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, or a related qualification (e.g., IT Specialist – System Integration)

• Several years of experience working as an IT consultant, preferably with a specialization in Citrix technologies

• In-depth knowledge of Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops, Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD), Citrix NetScaler, and Citrix Cloud / DaaS

• Proficient in Windows Server (2016/2019/2022), Active Directory, and PowerShell

• Exceptional German (C1 or C2) and English language skills, both written and verbal

• Strong analytical mindset and effective problem-solving capabilities

• Excellent communication and consulting abilities

• High level of self-motivation and a solution-focused work ethic

• Citrix certifications (e.g., CCA-V, CCP-V, CCE-V) are advantageous

• Azure certifications (e.g., Azure Administrator AZ-104 or Azure Solutions Architect AZ-305) are a plus
