Consultant, Business Consulting Risk – TMT, CNS, Digital Risk

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Collaborate within EY’s Software and IT Asset Management team focusing on software license compliance, process enhancements, governance improvements, software consumption strategies, and managed services.

• Utilize advanced technologies to analyze and design comprehensive business processes.

• Identify inefficiencies through the application of quantitative and qualitative methods.

• Support extensive data collection efforts and implement business processes that address operational, legal, reputational, regulatory, and economic risks.

• Conduct risk assessments based on the terms and conditions outlined in contracts.

• Extract data and perform analytics to assess financial and operational adherence to contracts.

• Summarize and present intricate datasets through interactive Power BI dashboards.

• Manage and support software discovery tools such as SCCM, BDNA, Flexera, and ServiceNow.

• Assist with upgrades to infrastructure, ensure security compliance, and facilitate remediation efforts.

• Maintain effective communication between EY and clients.

• Handle multiple projects with changing priorities.

• Independently gather information, resolve conceptual challenges, coordinate resources, formulate project strategies, and achieve results.

• Foster robust local, area, and global networks with key service line advocates.

• Collaborate with project managers to guarantee timely and high-quality project deliverables.

• Lead meetings, identify challenges, and suggest solutions with autonomy and accountability.

• Engage with senior stakeholders at software vendors and EY clients, including individuals at the board level.

⛳️ Requirements

• A graduate degree or higher qualification.

• 1 - 6 years of experience in Software Asset Management (SAM) or Software License Compliance.

• Proficiency in working with Business Intelligence tools such as Power BI.

• Experience with software discovery tools including Flexera, BDNA, SCCM, and ServiceNow.

• Familiarity with Active Directory, virtualization technologies, network infrastructures, software vendor license agreements, and licensing terms.

• Understanding of IT processes and infrastructure, including applications, databases, operating systems, Oracle, Windows, and Linux.

• Exceptional Microsoft Excel capabilities, particularly in analyzing complex and varied datasets using pivot tables and functions.

• Strong written and verbal communication abilities.

• Keen attention to detail.

• Capability to thrive in a diverse team and dynamic environment that necessitates remote working.

• Preferred qualifications include CSAM/ISO 19770/ITAM/BSA SAM certification.

• PMP/PRINCE2 project management certification is preferred.

• IT vendor certification such as Microsoft Certified Professional is desirable.

• Experience and training within a Big 4 firm is advantageous.

• B-Tech qualification is required.
