Consultant, Azerbaijan iGaming Market – Contract

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Malta.

📋 Description

• Perform in-depth market and competitor evaluations to identify leading operators, emerging market trends, customer behaviors, acquisition tactics, and significant growth prospects.

• Analyze the payment landscape and associated risks, focusing on local payment options, banking solutions, card acquiring, and cryptocurrency alternatives.

• Suggest appropriate payment strategies and connect with potential partners when applicable.

• Review the existing regulatory and enforcement framework, emphasizing operational risks, restrictions, and market-specific factors.

• Formulate an acquisition strategy that encompasses affiliate partnerships, KOLs, Telegram communities, SEO avenues, and additional relevant channels.

• Assess product localization needs, such as language, cultural aspects, payment preferences, CRM strategies, and customer segmentation.

• Aid in go-to-market preparations by pinpointing organizational needs, resource shortages, and essential hires for a successful launch.

• Key deliverables include a comprehensive market intelligence report, recommendations on payment infrastructure and partners, a regulatory and risk assessment report, a customer acquisition and marketing strategy, a product localization review, and a go-to-market strategy.

⛳️ Requirements

• Demonstrated recent experience in operating or consulting within the Azerbaijani offshore iGaming sector.

• In-depth understanding of local payment systems and partnerships.

• Established connections with affiliates, KOLs, and key market players.

• Strong knowledge of the regulatory and enforcement environment.

• Proficiency in English and Azerbaijani; proficiency in Russian is a plus.

• Commercial experience in the online casino industry.

• Sound judgment and the ability to navigate opportunities and risks in a grey-market context.

• Capability to work autonomously while effectively collaborating with internal teams.
