This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.
• Accountable for the comprehensive preparation and presentation of evidence for trials, arbitrations, mediations, hearings, jury research, and client consultations.
• Offers expert consulting services to litigation teams on the effective use of trial communication techniques and multimedia presentations.
• Collaborates with the trial team, including expert witnesses, to formulate and implement strategies for case presentation in the courtroom utilizing a courtroom presentation system.
• Oversees the entirety of trial presentation, which includes exhibit displays, managing courtroom setups, and conducting ‘hot seat’ activities during the trial.
• Tasked with recommending engaging graphic and multimedia presentations for trial use.
• Works in conjunction with the trial team both prior to and during the trial to create scripts for presenting exhibits in a specific sequence to bolster testimony.
• Aids in identifying, crafting, and showcasing trial themes.
• Suggests and supervises the preparation of graphic images and exhibits using widely available software packages.
• Manages graphics production capabilities, utilizing tools such as PowerPoint, Adobe Product Suite (InDesign, Illustrator & Photoshop), as well as other 2D, video editing, and 3D animation software.
• May oversee the creation of demonstrative graphics that enhance persuasive opportunities.
• May design and implement customized database, imaging, and trial presentation systems to support complex cases.
• Develops courtroom display schematics and supervises the setup of presentation equipment in both the courtroom and War Room.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government Public Trust clearance prior to commencement (candidates do not need to have clearance at the time of application).
• Authorized to work in the United States.
• Capable of working efficiently in a fully remote setting.
• At least 10 trials of experience supporting and advising trial teams on the use of technology in the courtroom.
• Must have a thorough understanding of standard courtroom presentation tools such as Trial Director and Sanction.
• High level of proficiency in graphic design, infographics, MS PowerPoint, and Adobe Creative Suite, along with experience in WordPress, Webflow, Bootstrap, HTML, CSS, and Dreamweaver.
• Experience in designing and producing mockups for web-based platforms.
• Familiarity with standard litigation support applications (e.g., Relativity, iConect, CaseMap, etc.).
• Must be able to function effectively as a team member in a high-pressure environment.
• Willingness to work on-site with attorneys and experts to discuss and develop strategic visuals for case presentations.
• Must be available for extended travel.
• Excellent oral communication skills are essential.
• A Bachelor’s degree is required from an accredited institution in Multimedia, Digital Design, Marketing, Fine Arts, or a related field.
