Consult-Liaison Psychiatrist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Assist the emergency department and inpatient teams by delivering high-quality psychiatric evaluations and consultations.

• Work collaboratively with the highly skilled Iris PMHNP.

• Offer remote consultations for inpatient, emergency room, and emergency department cases.

• Engage in weekend shifts, averaging 1-2 days per month.

• Prioritize excellent patient care while ensuring a healthy work-life balance.

⛳️ Requirements

• Possess an active medical license; a Texas license is required, and/or an IMLC Letter of Qualification is advantageous.

• Successfully completed a 4-year ACGME Residency Program in Psychiatry; will consider highly experienced PMHNPs.

• Board Certification is mandatory.

• Have a minimum of 2 years of post-residency consult-liaison experience.

• Experience and readiness to treat patients aged 5 and older for emergency department and emergency room consultations.

• Comfortable collaborating with various health systems and managing diverse acuity levels.

• Must reside in the U.S. or a U.S. territory.
