Construction Worker

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Louisiana.

📋 Description

• While stationed on the base, adhere strictly to military directives and regulations without exception.

• Assist in the preparation and cleanup of job sites, including the transportation of materials and equipment.

• Conduct general labor activities such as civil demolition, fence installation, excavation, lifting, and handling heavy loads.

• Safely and effectively operate hand tools, small construction machinery, and power tools.

• Follow guidance from supervisors and work collaboratively with team members to ensure timely project completion.

• Keep the work area clean and organized to uphold safety standards.

• Abide by all safety protocols and regulations to mitigate risks on the job site.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must be able to obtain a Defense Biometric Identification System (DBIDS) credential for base access.

• Complete necessary forms at the base Visitor Control Center, presenting two authorized forms of identification, one of which must comply with the REAL ID Act (e.g., Passport, Birth Certificate, Social Security Card).

• Undergo fingerprinting and photographing at the base Visitor Control Center.

• Successfully pass a criminal history and national database background check.

• Possess a valid driver's license that can be verified through the Department of Motor Vehicles.

• Have access to a reliable vehicle with valid insurance and registration for base entry.

• Possess 3-5 years of construction experience across various trades.

• Be familiar with small construction equipment and tools.

• Ability to follow instructions and collaborate effectively as part of a team.

• Strong physical endurance and capability to perform manual labor for extended durations.

• Eagerness to acquire new skills and techniques within the construction sector.
