This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Engage in essential pre-construction meetings: Informational sessions with Project Managers.
• Site Support: Organize and carry out regular travel to project locations for ongoing support, tailored to the complexity of each project.
• Generate necessary reports associated with these visits.
• Oversee coordination and ensure the quality of service/products and timely completion by all vendors and subcontractors.
• Prioritize, enforce, and document safety protocols to protect the well-being of both internal and external personnel at the construction site.
• Manage the job closeout process, including addressing punch list items.
• Record and monitor potential changes to scope, conditions, or directives from inspectors/clients.
• Relay these items to the Project Manager for the project.
• Logistics Management: Liaise with Project Managers regarding product orders, deliveries, and associated logistics.
• Inform Project Managers of relevant deliveries received, allowing them to integrate critical path items into Gantt schedules.
• Project/Strategic Management: Diligently monitor the status of every project.
• Strategically guide projects to completion collaboratively.
• Communicate with Project Managers to maintain Gantt schedules for each project on a weekly basis, ensuring timely delivery of scope.
• Coordinate daily check-ins and weekly status meetings with an on-site supervisor and/or implementation teams.
• Participate in weekly status meetings with the internal Project Manager and Operations Leader to guarantee smooth project delivery.
• Prepare weekly status reports for the Project Manager and Operations Leader.
• Address any challenges and changes that may arise.
• Successfully close out completed projects: Collaborate with the Project Manager/Operations Leader to ensure they have all necessary reports, photographs, etc., to prepare and execute project closeout packages.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in commercial construction is required; 5+ years is preferred.
• If possessing a Bachelor’s degree in construction, a minimum of 2 years of experience as a Superintendent is required.
• Capability to adhere to project schedules and update the PM/Operations Leader on any roadblocks or changes to the schedule.
• Ability to propel projects and project teams forward, even in uncertain conditions.
• Aptitude for managing projects that extend beyond the conventional construction scope.
• Willingness to travel to job sites for extended periods (Duration varies based on project needs) to ensure smooth and timely project progression.
• Experience working in and designing for secure government environments is preferred.
• Prior military experience is preferred.
• Proficiency with MS Suite applications, including Outlook, Teams, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Dynamics.
• Understanding of construction processes, techniques, and industry best practices.
• Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while maintaining good working relationships across other IG departments in various time zones.
• Strong business communication skills (both written and verbal).
• Clean driving record with proof of insurance and a valid driver’s license.
• Previous security clearance with DOD (Secret or Top Secret) is a plus but not mandatory.
• Capability to gain access to DoD facilities (required).
• Competitive Base Salary ($65,000-$80,000).
