This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alaska.
• Deliver onsite leadership for the direct subcontractor workforce, overseeing and directing all field and construction management activities.
• Assist the Project Manager in planning and organizing project tasks, including the management of the critical path and all associated activities, to ensure compliance with contract documents.
• Supervise the efficient and timely installation of the contracted work.
• Collaborate with the Project Manager and scheduling team to formulate a plan for the sequence of work and project timeline.
• Aid the Project Manager in creating logistics plans and schedules during the pre-construction phase and initial project activities.
• Offer continuous project status updates to all stakeholders throughout the design and construction phases.
• Produce project reports, documentation, provide technical assistance, support, and foster collaboration.
• Cultivate a thorough understanding of owner contracts, subcontracts, and purchase orders.
• Ensure adherence to company safety standards, as well as industry, trade, and federal/local jurisdictional regulations, practices, and codes.
• High School diploma or equivalent qualification.
• A minimum of ten (10) years of construction experience, including at least five (5) years in the commercial or government construction sector as a site superintendent or a comparable role.
• Capability to review confidential US Security information.
• Preferred experience in mechanical and electrical construction.
• Extensive knowledge of the construction process, including scheduling, contract management, equipment, and workforce management.
• Proven ability to lead field operations effectively.
• Familiarity and experience in Quality Control management.
• Strong verbal, written, technical communication, and presentation skills.
• Proficient in computer software such as Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
• Demonstrated experience with OSHA safety standards, building systems, engineering, and project management regulations, practices, and codes.
• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently while fostering positive business relationships.
• OSHA 30-hour Certification is mandatory.
• EM-385-1 Certification is preferred.
• Experience with Primavera P6 is an advantage.
