Construction Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Utilize your expertise, knowledge, and technical qualifications to interpret written industry standards, customer specifications, regulations, and site limitations.

• Suggest or initiate direct actions necessary to fulfill and adhere to all requirements.

• Identify concerns related to the advancement and quality of work conducted by others and make decisions and recommendations to effectively address situations involving customers, contractors, and company personnel both on and off the job site.

• Maintain and submit As-Built documentation.

• Draft clearance and tie-in plans.

• Supervise clearance and tie-in activities.

• Perform construction support tasks including material procurement, review and response to RFIs, field meetings, gas service walks, construction issue evaluation and resolution, schedule updates, and gas standards review to become a Subject Matter Expert.

• Travel to various job sites within the greater Bay Area, which may require overnight stays.

• A degree in Construction Management or Engineering.

• Reliable personal transportation.

• Willingness to travel to job sites for more than 50% of the work week.
