This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Oversee assigned projects and lead the project team effectively.
• Maintain appropriate communication with clients and manage project stakeholders.
• Control and manage the project's scope, budget, and schedule objectives.
• Provide support to a prominent client on various installations of EV charging stations.
• Organize, manage, and coordinate project timelines, scope, and costs.
• Conduct value engineering on projects by identifying cost-saving opportunities and assessing material alternatives.
• Create Project Management plans along with budget proposals at the commencement of projects.
• Review project documents and convey client goals and expectations to the project team members.
• Formulate and communicate action plans throughout the project lifecycle.
• Collaborate with the cost management team on cost estimates, cost analyses, job cost reviews, and budget reconciliation.
• Facilitate permitting processes with local, state, and federal agencies.
• Ensure that design management adheres to client budgets, scopes, schedules, and design standards.
• Generate cost and revenue forecasts.
• Willingness to travel 25–50% within the designated region.
• Proven experience in managing the construction of intricate electrical or industrial projects.
• Ability to travel semi-locally a few days each week.
• Experience in preparing Project Management Plans and budget/fee proposals.
• Proven track record in developing and implementing action plans.
• Demonstrated capability to monitor project scope and suggest adjustments as needed.
• Ability to prepare and convey cost and revenue forecasts effectively.
• Understanding of the permitting process and the ability to expedite it to align with project timelines.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Competence in monitoring project scope, budget, and schedule.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with team members and clients.
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Architecture, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in Project Management, engineering, or construction management.
• Experience in electrical projects is highly preferred.
• Preferred certifications: CCM, PMP, PE, AIA, LEED.
