Construction Project Manager – EV Charging

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Oversee assigned projects effectively.

• Facilitate communication between the project team and the client.

• Manage and oversee project scope, budget, and schedule objectives.

• Provide support to a key client for multiple EV charging station installations.

• Organize, manage, and coordinate every element of project schedule, scope, and cost.

• Implement value engineering by identifying cost-saving opportunities and ensuring material substitutions meet standards.

• Engage with and manage project stakeholders efficiently.

• Draft Project Management plans and budget proposals at the beginning of each project.

• Assess documents and relay client goals and expectations to project team members.

• Create and disseminate action plans throughout the duration of the project.

• Collaborate with the cost management group on cost estimates, cost studies, actual job cost reviews, and budget reconciliation.

• Navigate the permitting process with local, state, and federal agencies.

• Ensure that project design management adheres to client documentation, budget, scope, schedule, and design standards.

• Generate cost and revenue forecasts.

• Work remotely while supporting West Coast sites, with 25–50% travel within the designated region.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience in managing complex electrical or industrial construction projects.

• Willingness to travel semi-locally a couple of days per week.

• Background in preparing Project Management Plans and budget proposals.

• Experience in developing and executing action plans.

• Demonstrated capability to monitor project scope and recommend adjustments when necessary.

• Proficient in preparing and communicating cost and revenue forecasts.

• Familiarity with the permitting process and the ability to facilitate it to meet project deadlines.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Understanding of how this role aligns with organizational objectives.

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Architecture, or a related field.

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in Project Management, engineering, or construction management.

• Experience in electrical projects is highly preferred.

• Preferred certifications include: CCM, PMP, PE, AIA, LEED.

• Must reside near an airport in the Western region.
