This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in South Carolina.
• Supervise and assist in various healthcare construction projects from the pre-construction phase through to project completion.
• Oversee timelines, budgets, vendors, consultants, permitting, construction execution, and operational coordination to guarantee the successful delivery of projects.
• Prepare and assess construction projects, which includes creating project budgets and cost estimates, reviewing feasibility, and collaborating with architects, engineers, contractors, and internal stakeholders on clinic design layouts.
• Analyze and interpret architectural drawings, engineering plans, specifications, and associated construction documents to ensure completeness, constructability, compliance with codes, operational functionality, and adherence to quality standards.
• Create and uphold detailed project schedules and execution plans while synchronizing timelines across all departments involved in project delivery.
• Facilitate and lead project meetings, including initial project kickoffs, ongoing status meetings, and milestone evaluations.
• Manage daily construction activities for designated projects from pre-construction through to final closeout and turnover.
• Identify and proactively address project risks, constraints, issues, and opportunities throughout the project lifecycle.
• Collaborate across internal departments and with external partners to ensure successful project execution.
• Monitor and manage project budgets, cost forecasts, change orders, invoices, and overall financial performance.
• Ensure all projects are completed on time, within budget, and in line with company standards and expectations.
• Coordinate permitting, inspections, landlord requirements, utility coordination, and occupancy approvals as necessary.
• Assist with facilities management initiatives related to existing clinics, refresh projects, maintenance coordination, and capital improvements.
• Maintain and update project tracking reports, schedules, dashboards, and relevant documentation to ensure accurate real-time reporting.
• Develop and execute process improvements, standardization initiatives, and scalable project management tools to enhance construction execution across the organization.
• Establish and nurture strong working relationships with contractors, vendors, consultants, landlords, and internal stakeholders.
• Utilize critical thinking and problem-solving skills to tackle complex project and construction-related challenges.
• Must be a resident of South Carolina.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering, Project Management, or a related field.
• At least five (5) years of progressive experience in construction and/or project management.
• Demonstrated experience managing multiple concurrent projects, vendors, consultants, and stakeholders across diverse project phases and timelines.
• Strong understanding of commercial construction, building systems, and standard operating procedures related to HVAC, plumbing, electrical, structural, and life safety systems.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, contracts, schedules, and regulatory/permitting documents.
• Comprehensive knowledge of building codes, construction materials, industry standards, and project management methodologies.
• Experience in preparing and managing project budgets, schedules, cost tracking, and financial reporting.
• Strong organizational, analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
• Exceptional written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Competence in negotiation, conflict management, and maintaining positive working relationships with internal and external partners.
• Ability to work independently, effectively prioritize tasks, and manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Proven ability to exercise sound judgment and maintain confidentiality.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and project/construction management software platforms.
• Willingness to travel by car and/or plane more than 50% of the time.
