Construction Project Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Oversee various retail construction projects from the design phase to final completion.

• Collaborate with architects, engineers, consultants, landlords, and general contractors.

• Conduct regular site visits to assess construction progress.

• Participate in project meetings with clients and other stakeholders.

• Review Requests for Information (RFIs), submittals, shop drawings, and related project documentation.

• Monitor schedules, milestones, and outstanding action items.

• Prepare meeting minutes and progress reports.

• Engage in weekly client Zoom meetings.

• Assist in coordinating permits and maintaining project documentation.

• Ensure the successful delivery of projects while managing multiple assignments simultaneously.

• Communicate effectively with project teams based in the U.S. and clients based in Korea.

• Travel across California for site visits, project meetings, and construction inspections.

⛳️ Requirements

• 3–8 years of experience in construction project management, specifically in retail construction, commercial construction, architecture, commercial interior fit-out, or tenant improvement projects.

• Proven experience in managing several projects at once.

• Excellent communication and organizational abilities.

• Ability to work independently in a remote setting.

• Willingness to travel throughout California.

• Possess a valid California driver's license and reliable transportation.

• Familiarity with AutoCAD, Bluebeam, Procore, or similar project management software is preferred.

• A bachelor's degree in Architecture, Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.

• Fluency in both Korean and English is required.
