Construction Project Coordinator, Residential/Light Commercial

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in South Africa.

📋 Description

• Oversee various multifamily renovation and light commercial construction projects from inception to completion.

• Propel project timelines, ensuring that milestones and deliverables are consistently met.

• Collaborate daily with subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams to ensure work is progressing as scheduled.

• Supervise project budgets, recognize potential cost risks, and escalate issues when necessary.

• Manage material procurement and monitor deliveries to minimize project delays.

• Administer project schedules and proactively address issues that may affect deadlines.

• Process and monitor change orders while ensuring that project documentation remains precise and current.

• Keep accurate records within the project management system.

• Recognize project risks early on and collaborate with the team to implement effective solutions.

• Communicate professionally and confidently with clients, vendors, and internal teams based in the U.S.

⛳️ Requirements

• 2–3 years of experience in coordinating construction, renovation, light commercial construction, or similar projects.

• Proven experience working with and coordinating subcontractors, suppliers, or vendors in the construction sector.

• Strong organizational and time management abilities.

• Capacity to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a dynamic environment.

• Comfortable utilizing project management software (experience with ClickUp is a plus but not mandatory).

• High attention to detail with the capability to follow through and complete tasks.

• Self-driven, proactive, and able to work independently in a fully remote setting.

• Excellent organizational, planning, and problem-solving skills.

• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills in English.
