This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Manage the procedures for approving builders and construction permanent loans.
• Oversee the project approval processes related to construction to permanent loans.
• Create, document, and sustain administrative processes for construction to permanent loans, which include reviewing documents, contracts, budgets, plans, specifications, and CCRs for project approvals.
• Submit necessary documentation for Collateral Assessment Review.
• Collaborate with the processor to address any conditions.
• Provide documentation for builder acceptance.
• Evaluate builder reports for acceptance.
• Maintain an updated list of accepted builders.
• Establish construction to permanent loans within the construction department post-closing.
• Uphold service quality standards within the department.
• Cultivate and manage relationships with essential external customers and vendors, including technology providers, suppliers of construction materials, attorneys, inspectors, title companies, and builders.
• Adhere to established guidelines, policies, and procedures.
• A Bachelor's degree in a business or technology-related field, or a comparable combination of education and/or experience is preferred.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in mortgage lending, particularly in construction lending, administration, processing, or underwriting is required.
• Preferred experience in onboarding and managing construction loan projects and third-party relationships.
• Ability to maintain and nurture positive relationships with clients and business partners.
• Timely completion of all assigned training is required.
• Proficient in professional communication, both verbally and in writing.
• Strong organizational, time management, and analytical skills are essential.
• Capable of effective communication and negotiation.
• Proven expertise in process evaluation, development, and monitoring.
• Familiarity with credit policies relevant to construction permanent and renovation loan programs.
• Strong understanding of construction project management and state lien laws is preferred.
• Knowledge of FHA underwriting guidelines is essential.
• Highly organized and detail-oriented.
• Ability to make informed business decisions with minimal oversight.
