
Construction Field Sales Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.
• Meet and exceed sales goals aligned with division and local market objectives by promoting DEWALT PTE, HTAS, STANLEY, LENOX, IRWIN, BOSTITCH, and PORTERCABLE brands to our end-user clientele.
• Build, nurture, and sustain essential relationships with end-user partners by providing product and service solutions, along with managing CORE and other SBD user contracts and programs related to user responsibilities.
• Educate and guide your local market team on the End User development process: identifying key contacts (such as trade associations, safety personnel, engineers, quality managers, general managers, line supervisors, chief mechanics, purchasing agents, etc.), understanding their purchasing process (central and facility), and aligning their activities with local market teams, product managers, local distributors, and service centers.
• Collaborate with Channel Marketing to execute and manage marketing initiatives.
• Utilize SalesForce.com as a CRM and Planning tool effectively.
• Share successes and challenges promptly to enhance processes and pave the way for future achievements with key accounts and opportunities.
• A Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Marketing, or related fields is preferred.
• Relevant experience in the construction field may be accepted in lieu of a higher education degree.
• Experience in Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing sales is preferred.
• A minimum of 3 years in Sales or Marketing for Construction Supplies, with a proven record of achieving results and experience selling to high-level executives, C-Suite, and jobsite directors is preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, problem-solving, verbal and written communication, organizational, and multitasking abilities.
• Capacity to combine empathy with determination to deliver exceptional results.
• Must possess a valid Driver's License and have the physical capability to travel up to 50% within the assigned territory.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook.
