This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.
• ECI (Early Contractor Involvement) Cost Estimating
• Analyze architectural plans and project documentation to define project scope and quantities.
• Generate initial cost estimates based on preliminary designs and project specifications.
• Collaborate with subcontractors and suppliers to secure pricing and scope confirmations.
• Assemble and deliver comprehensive cost estimates utilizing estimating software and Microsoft Office applications.
• BOQ & Tender Estimating
• Precisely measure quantities and prepare Bills of Quantities (BOQs) from comprehensive construction drawings.
• Oversee the distribution of tender documentation to subcontractors and suppliers.
• Handle trade pricing requests, follow-ups, RFIs, and scope clarifications throughout the tendering process.
• Review and confirm subcontractor quotations to ensure all necessary project scope items are included.
• Verify trade pricing for completeness, accuracy, and budget conformity.
• Project Setup & Closeout Support
• Integrate awarded projects into project management software, including budgets, cost codes, and financial frameworks. (Project value between 2-10 million AUD)
• Assist project teams with precise financial setup and documentation management.
• Coordinate the collection of Occupation Certificate (OC) documentation, compliance certificates, and consultant approvals.
• Prepare client handover documentation packs upon project completion.
• Maintain organized project records, correspondence, and documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
• At least 5+ years of experience in construction estimating, quantity take-offs, or tender coordination within the construction sector.
• Strong ability to accurately interpret architectural drawings, specifications, and construction documentation.
• Demonstrated experience in preparing BOQs, coordinating subcontractor pricing, and reviewing tender submissions.
• Exceptional attention to detail with strong numerical, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills, capable of handling multiple tenders and deadlines concurrently.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the capability to liaise effectively with trades, suppliers, consultants, and internal teams.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office 365, especially Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Experience with Adobe Acrobat for document management and markup.
• Familiarity with GroundPlan and/or Procore is highly regarded.
• Understanding of construction financials, cost coding, and project management systems is advantageous.
• Experience with Occupation Certificate documentation, compliance collection, and client handover processes is desirable.
• Familiarity with Smartsheet or project scheduling/programming software is a bonus.
• Relevant qualifications in Construction Management, Building, Quantity Surveying, or a related field are preferred.
