This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Dominican Republic.
• Generate precise cost estimates based on project designs, specifications, and work scope.
• Execute quantity takeoffs for various construction projects.
• Analyze blueprints, drawings, and technical specifications.
• Organize project documentation, including RFIs, submittals, and change orders.
• Monitor project timelines, budgets, and progress throughout the entire project lifecycle.
• Support project managers with planning, procurement, and project coordination tasks.
• Keep project records and documentation well-organized.
• Liaise with subcontractors, suppliers, vendors, and internal teams.
• Investigate material and labor costs to ensure precise project estimates.
• Confirm that estimates and project documentation are completed with accuracy and on time.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in construction estimating, project coordination, or a related field.
• Strong capability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and construction specifications.
• Familiarity with construction terminology, materials, methods, and estimating principles.
• Experience in performing quantity takeoffs and creating cost estimates.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office applications.
• Excellent analytical, mathematical, and problem-solving abilities.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Proficiency in English at a C1 level or higher (both written and verbal) with a slight to neutral accent.
• Availability to work during Eastern Time (ET) business hours.
• Capacity to manage multiple projects and adhere to deadlines in a remote work setting.
• Dependable internet connection and a dedicated home office space.
• Familiarity with estimating software such as PlanSwift, Bluebeam Revu, STACK, ProEst, On-Screen Takeoff, or similar tools.
• Experience with project management software like Procore, Buildertrend, Autodesk Construction Cloud, or Microsoft Project.
• Background in supporting residential, commercial, or industrial construction projects.
• Understanding of subcontractor bidding, procurement, and vendor management processes.
• An Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related discipline (preferred but not mandatory).
• Experience aiding U.S.-based construction companies.
• Familiarity with AI productivity tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, or Microsoft Copilot to enhance workflow efficiency.
