This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.
• Expands a portfolio of clients and achieves quarterly targets.
• Assesses leads, generates opportunities, and initiates contracts using Salesforce and Juro as part of the sales process.
• Analyzes a diverse array of collectibles across various categories, possessing in-depth knowledge in a specific area.
• Authenticates items (capable of distinguishing counterfeit from genuine items) to exclude items unsuitable for consignment.
• Estimates the value of consigned items and establishes starting prices, auction placements, and auction selection.
• Represents the Goldin brand in public forums through social media and speaks at trade shows or events.
• Engages with potential consignors via phone, email, and social media platforms.
• Travels to consignors to assess and/or collect inventory.
• Participates in trade shows on behalf of Goldin.
• Initiates operational procedures for consigned inventory and ensures items are handled according to consignor expectations.
• Determines the authentication strategy, collaborates with the authentication team to implement it, and keeps consignors updated throughout the process.
• Works with the Content team to promote items during auctions and communicates records after the auction.
• Stays informed on current events, industry trends, the hobby, and competitors to enhance price realization for consignors.
• Delivers "white glove service" throughout the entire process for consignors.
• Provides guidance to consignors to help them achieve maximum price realization.
• Reviews auction results and follows up to ensure products are correctly placed in the appropriate auctions with accurate titles, opening bids, authentication, and descriptions.
• Proven expertise and enthusiasm for Coins and Numismatics, with a minimum of 5 years in the broader hobby or collectibles sector.
• Experience in relationship management, particularly with high net worth individuals, is advantageous.
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with fluency in both verbal and written formats for engaging clients and team members.
• Demonstrated ability to source consignments and sales, consistently meeting and exceeding quotas.
• Strong organizational and prioritization skills, capable of managing multiple projects in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
• Proficient in Salesforce, Excel, email, and other industry-standard digital tools.
• Proven ability to accurately identify authentic and counterfeit collectibles, ensuring the integrity of consignments.
• Willingness to travel frequently for trade shows, including international destinations.
• Willingness to travel regularly to meet with consignors.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred; candidates with equivalent experience or alternative qualifications that contribute to success in this role are welcome.
