This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.
• Expands a portfolio of clients while achieving quarterly objectives.
• Reviews leads, generates opportunities, and initiates contracts using Salesforce and Juro as part of the sales process.
• Assesses a diverse range of collectibles across various categories, possessing in-depth knowledge in a specific area.
• Authenticates items (capable of distinguishing between counterfeit and genuine items) to eliminate those unsuitable for consignment.
• Estimates the value of consigned inventory, establishes starting prices, and determines auction placements and venues.
• Publicly represents the Goldin brand through social media engagement and speaking at trade shows or events.
• Engages with potential consignors via phone, email, and social media platforms.
• Travels to consignors to evaluate and/or collect inventory.
• Represents Goldin at trade shows.
• Initiates operational processes for consigned items and ensures management aligns with consignor expectations.
• Determines authentication strategies, collaborates with the authentication team for execution, and keeps consignors updated throughout the process.
• Collaborates with the Content team to promote items during auctions and communicates outcomes post-auction.
• Remains informed about current events, industry trends, the hobby, and competition to enhance price realization for consignors.
• Delivers a "white glove service" experience from start to finish for consignors.
• Advises consignors on strategies to maximize price realization.
• Reviews auction placements and follows up to ensure products are correctly categorized with appropriate titles, opening bids, authentications, and descriptions.
• Proven expertise and enthusiasm for Coins and Numismatics, with a minimum of 5 years of experience in the broader collectibles or hobby industry.
• Experience in relationship management, particularly with high net worth individuals, is a plus.
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, proficient in both verbal and written formats for engaging with clients and team members.
• Demonstrated ability to source consignments and sales, consistently meeting or surpassing quotas.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks while managing multiple projects in a fast-paced, dynamic setting.
• Proficient in Salesforce, Excel, email, and commonly used digital tools within the industry.
• Proven capability to distinguish between authentic and counterfeit collectibles, ensuring accuracy and integrity in the consignment process.
• Willingness to travel frequently for trade shows (including international trips).
• Regular travel required for meeting with consignors.
• Bachelor’s degree is preferred; however, candidates with equivalent experience or alternative qualifications that enhance success in this role are encouraged to apply.
