Conservative Writer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Develop cohesive content for the website alongside a team of dedicated content writers.

• Uphold ONC's dedication to nonpartisanship, ideological variety, and civil discourse in all published materials.

• Engage in constructive dialogue with conservative, progressive, and moderate writers centered around our eight policy areas: Governance, Economics, Infrastructure, Healthcare, Foreign Policy and Defense, Justice and Public Safety, Social Issues, and Science, Environment, and Technology.

• Involve in podcasts, events, and additional tasks as required.

⛳️ Requirements

• Pursuing a degree in Political Science, Journalism, English or Literature, Public Policy, Media Studies, International Relations, or related fields.

• Outstanding writing skills are essential (English).

• Must be a responsive, consistent, and effective communicator, even in challenging situations.

• Preferred experience in policy research, political commentary, political science, or a related area.

• Ability to work remotely and manage a flexible schedule to meet deadlines.

• Familiarity with Google Workspace is preferred.

• Must be able to participate in some weekly Friday afternoon Editorial meetings.

• Authorization to intern in the U.S. is required.
