Conflicts Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania.

📋 Description

• Perform daily research on conflicts and execute timely, precise conflicts searches.

• Review conflicts reports to pinpoint potential conflicts.

• Maintain information in a conflicts database while ensuring data integrity.

• Handle electronic requests for new matter and client openings.

• Utilize S&P Cap IQ, Hoovers, LexisNexis/Corporate Affiliations, A.M. Best, and other public databases for research purposes.

• Collaborate with attorneys and staff concerning the Conflicts Group and its procedures.

⛳️ Requirements

• 3-5 years of experience in a similar role within a law firm is mandatory.

• Experience in supporting various offices and/or practice areas is preferred.

• Familiarity with conflicts of interest databases is advantageous.

• Proficiency in Microsoft applications, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and the Document Management System (DMS) is required.

• Capability to learn and navigate firm applications, systems, and databases.

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy is essential.

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills are necessary.

• Ability to think creatively and approach problems from different angles.

• Proficient in multitasking, time management, organization, and meeting tight deadlines.

• Willingness to work additional hours when necessary.

• A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience is required.

• Strong verbal and written communication abilities are needed.

• Capacity to communicate effectively and provide clarity to attorneys and staff across all levels.

• Ability to manage multiple tasks amidst changing deadlines.

• Willingness to take ownership and accountability for projects or special assignments.

• Initiative and sound judgment skills are crucial.

• Reliable and dependable, with the ability to work independently or collaboratively within a team.
