Junior Requirements Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Identify, gather, analyze, specify, document, and manage both functional and non-functional system requirements.

• Extract and model business processes, pinpointing areas for enhancement and optimization.

• Develop user stories, use cases, business rules, acceptance criteria, and other necessary artifacts for solution development.

• Engage in product backlog refinement, aiding in the prioritization and elaboration of requirements.

• Act as a liaison among business areas, the Product Owner, users, and technical teams to ensure a common understanding of requirements.

• Assist in solution design for new products, services, and system enhancements that align with business needs and established standards.

• Take part in validating developed solutions, supporting user acceptance testing, and ensuring compliance with specified requirements.

• Map and document business processes utilizing modeling best practices.

• Lead meetings for requirements elicitation, refinement, and validation with stakeholders.

• Aid in identifying risks, impacts, and dependencies related to requirements and initiatives.

• Ensure traceability between requirements, features, and delivered solutions.

• Collaborate with developers, architects, test analysts, UX professionals, and other members of the Agile team.

• Ensure adherence to the technical, methodological, and operational requirements set forth contractually.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or a related field.

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in identifying, defining, and documenting business processes and software requirements for implementation.

• Experience in eliciting, analyzing, and specifying both functional and non-functional requirements.

• Proven experience in creating User Stories, acceptance criteria, and other requirements artifacts.

• Familiarity with Agile software development principles and practices, including Scrum and Kanban.

• Understanding of requirements elicitation techniques.

• Experience in managing and refining product backlogs.

• Ability to interact and negotiate with various stakeholders.

• Analytical skills to comprehend and model business rules.

• Knowledge of business process modeling and documentation (BPM) is preferred.

• Understanding of user experience (UX) is preferred.

• Experience with prototyping tools such as Figma, Balsamiq, or similar is preferred.

• Familiarity with UML is preferred.

• Basic knowledge of SQL for queries is preferred.

• Understanding of OpenAPI / Swagger is preferred.

• Knowledge of system integrations and REST APIs is preferred.

• Familiarity with application security is preferred.

• Experience in software development projects for public-sector organizations is preferred.
