This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Contribute significantly to achieving essential outcomes for intricate health, government, defense, and intelligence projects.
• Upgrade, manage, and sustain Medicaid information and claims processing systems.
• Serve as the primary contact for Configuration Management activities throughout design, development, integration, and operational phases.
• Establish configuration management processes and procedures.
• Oversee version control of solutions, documentation, and other project artifacts influenced by system changes.
• Maintain an inventory of all system artifacts.
• Manage configuration identification to create a connection between software, hardware, and documentation.
• Perform regular audits and report findings to the customer to ensure solution components are correctly configured and comply with established standards and guidelines.
• Ensure system versions are approved before releasing system functionalities.
• Validate that documentation is accurate, up-to-date, and accessible to team members, stakeholders, and agency personnel.
• Manage configuration project team members concerning onboarding, training, and task assignments.
• Provide consistent updates regarding configuration management initiatives.
• Complete and submit performance and status reports.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or a related field; or equivalent professional experience.
• A minimum of four (4) years of experience in configuration management for Medicaid or Major Health Care Payer projects.
• At least three (3) years of experience utilizing configuration management tools and software.
• Over 3 years of experience in modifying and maintaining the configuration of Medicaid or Medicare systems pertinent to the proposed solution.
• Familiarity with the Medicaid Transformation Initiative, Medicaid Information Technology Architecture (MITA) 3.0, and the CMS Conditions for Enhanced Funding.
• Knowledge of IT best practices, policies and regulations, software development life cycle, and ITIL Service Configuration Management methodology.
• ITIL Certification is preferred.
