Configuration, Deployment Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• Provide assistance to ICT teams in the development, integration, and deployment processes for backend systems and client devices (both mobile and PC).

• Aid ICT teams in managing and configuring system environments.

• Support project teams during system testing phases.

• Oversee and evaluate the daily operations of applications and environments.

• Track system performance, availability, and overall health.

• Report, coordinate, and follow up on technical issues concerning system environments.

• Serve as a liaison with vendors and contractors regarding technical challenges.

• Assist ICT personnel and project teams in deploying and maintaining development environments on Azure.

• Design, maintain, and consistently enhance CI/CD pipelines.

• Automate the deployment of applications and updates to environment configurations.

⛳️ Requirements

• A degree in an ICT-related field (mandatory), with a minimum Education Level of 6.

• At least 8 years of relevant professional IT experience.

• A minimum of 3 years of project experience in a comparable role.

• Strong understanding of software deployment management.

• Solid knowledge of software release management.

• Familiarity with RUP and/or Agile methodologies.

• Understanding of application servers.

• Experience with build and deployment tools, such as Ant and Azure Pipelines.

• Knowledge of software development tools.

• Familiarity with RDBMS.

• Extensive experience in CI/CD management for complex enterprise systems.

• Proficient in administering and troubleshooting ASP.NET applications hosted on Microsoft IIS.

• In-depth knowledge of IIS configuration, application pools, websites, bindings, SSL certificates, and authentication methods.

• Understanding of Active Directory integration, Group Policies, service accounts, and Windows security principles.

• Extensive experience in designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines for ASP.NET applications.

• Required knowledge of Azure DevOps.

• Strong experience with Git-based workflows.

• Ability to analyze intricate technical issues and implement effective solutions.

• Excellent organizational and coordination capabilities.

• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work efficiently in an international and multicultural setting.

• Proficiency in English is essential.

• Additional European languages are viewed as an advantage.
