Configuration and Change Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Oversee the management of configurations and modifications in current systems (client business solutions) as well as in development projects for new solutions, which includes creating baselines, verifying naming conventions, and organizing configuration items within the Configuration Management tool, along with managing configuration and change control for delivered products.

• Comprehend the principles of configuration management.

• Exhibit meticulous attention to all aspects of system/application configuration.

• Ensure that developers adhere to the established configuration management policies and procedures.

• Aid in the maintenance of the current version control, which is essential for version rollback scenarios.

• Support the team in submitting Change Requests by providing the necessary components for deployment.

• Conduct project monitoring and control tasks.

• Maintain the Configuration Management Plan.

• Facilitate system installation within the production environment.

⛳️ Requirements

• A bachelor's degree in Information Technology, or any advanced degree complemented by a postgraduate certificate (specialization, master's, or doctorate) in Information Technology with a minimum of 360 hours.

• DESIRABLE CERTIFICATIONS: ITIL v4, DevOps Foundation, CMII (Configuration Management).

• Preferred experience: 3 years in configuration management, change control, and governance of IT environments, utilizing version control tools, continuous integration, and conducting technical audits in projects.

• MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE: Software Configuration Management (SCM): concepts, processes, and standards (CMDB, baseline, change control); Tools: - Distributed: Git, Subversion, Jenkins, Maven, Nexus, SonarQube, ClearCase UCM - Mainframe: CA Endevor, JCL, SDSF; Technical change management and version control; Continuous integration and release pipelines; Build and environment control and traceability; Infrastructure versioning and deploy automation (conceptual knowledge desirable); Monitoring and generation of operational metrics for the CM process.
