Concrete Inspector

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• The Pre-Stressed Concrete Inspector is in charge of overseeing the quality assurance in the fabrication facility.

• Collaborating with the Project Manager to identify the specific requirements for each work order.

• Ensure that the services delivered align with project specifications and contractual obligations to the client.

• Create and manage timesheets, billing reports, and inspection documentation.

• Foster a positive relationship among Bureau Veritas, the fabrication facility, and the client.

• Ability to work remotely from designated Bureau Veritas offices.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of three years in concrete construction, including at least one year in precast or prestressed construction.

• REQUIRED - ACI Level I Field Technician Certification.

• REQUIRED - PCI Level II certification.

• High school diploma or GED.

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and shop drawings.

• Capable of preparing reports in both hard copy (written) and digital formats on a PC.

• High level of computer proficiency with the capability to effectively use a PC and Microsoft products, including MS Word and MS Excel.
